Back flow from sewage line
You never know what life will trow at you on some random Wednesday afternoon. Here we have a common back flow from storm sewer into a residential garage and basement. It was caused by the local water department that was doing maintenance on the sewage lines in the area. The muck left behind after drying can be very difficult to remove. It requires using a floor scraper to first break away from the concrete, then the dry soil is swept up. The remainder was then brushed agitated with floor cleaner and washed down the floor drain. The last step is to treat with anti microbial disinfectant.
